In Montenegro, autumn is the time for various festivals, special events in sports, culture, art, which suit different interests, from boat rides to tours of monasteries and museums. This period is ideal for unusual experiences brought by autumn fruits, one of them is grapes, for this reason we dedicate this article to this divine fruit. The vine is one of the oldest cultivated plants and at the same time an important Christian symbol because it produces wine. Wine has been a part of Montenegrin religion, culture and customs for centuries. The vineyards around Lake Skadar have been known since Roman times, and numerous stories and legends testify to the grapes and wine from Crmnica. Vranac was created in Montenegro as a metaphor for strong and noble wine. Vranac is today the most popular and most consumed Montenegrin wine. History takes us to the time of the young Montenegrin prince Nikola Petrović, who was educated in Paris all his life and who was the first to recognize the potential and possibilities of this climate for wine production. Prince Nikola expressed his will that every soldier from the place where the grape vine thrives should plant two hundred vines. Thus, Montenegrin wine received recognition for the first time as early as 1907 at a wine exhibition in London, where Montenegrin Vranac won first prize. We are pleased to recommend one of the "Plantaza" wine tours, where in addition to tasting different types of wine, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the endless vineyards as well as various traditional specialties. Choose a tour according to your taste and go on an adventure."BOUQUET" tour
