Recently, the book "MONTEENGRO EMIGRATION: ARGENTINA".
This act achieved two important goals:
- continuation of work of Montenegro.com through publishing activities
- successful implementation of the first part of the project on promoting cooperation between researchers and organizations in Montenegro with Montenegrin institutions and individuals in the diaspora for the benefit of studying and uncovering the history of our presence on the South American continent.
Several more publications with a similar theme, but more focused on emigrants who came to the northern part of the American continent, are also being prepared, which is also realized under the auspices of www.mausac.org, published by www.montenegro.com, and with the help of several American non-governmental organizations that deal with the history of immigration to this great country.
So before you is a new book that was created through fruitful cooperation and joint efforts of the Montenegrin motherland and the diaspora.
Montenegrin Emigration
ARGENTINA
It provides so far the best insight and the most complete amount of information both on the history of Montenegrin emigrants to Argentina and on the current state and relations between our emigrants and their descendants. The book contains the unique testimony of Timoti Jokanova about his journey from the village of Trse in Piva to Buenos Aires in 1904, and a number of other interesting data about our people in Argentina.
All information about the book or possible orders from Montenegro and abroad can be obtained at the following e-mail address:
