The coastal town of Njivica is located a few kilometers from Igalo, almost opposite the port of Herzegnov. The perspective is dominated by a modern hotel complex immersed in Mediterranean vegetation. The large pebbled Kraljičina beach was named after Queen Maria (Karađorđević), who bathed here in 1932. In Njivice there is a church of St. Fridays. Winding paved serpentines (3 km) lead to the nearby settlement of Žvinje. Although from Herceg Novi it ​​looks like Žvinje was built on a mountain slope, it is not so. A closer look reveals that each house is built on one of the cascades, with a truly unique view of the Gulf, all the way to the far corners of the smaller inner, Tivat Bay. Although without spring water, Žvinje is today full of cottages. The owners know why: because of the unique view! However, the crown of all viewpoints can be found on foot for half an hour, along the hill of Ilinica. From the top, from the small gate of the tiny church of St. Ilije, on the other hand - you can see the entire Gulf and part of the Croatian coast all the way to Molunt, including the small archipelago there!
