King Nikola's Palace

King Nikola's Palace stands in its own park on the Topolica seafront and reopened on 20 July 2026 after a major restoration, again housing Bar's Homeland Museum. The familiar wedding-gift story needs correcting: the institution that runs the museum says Prince Petar Karađorđević built the residence for his own use after marrying Princess Zorka in 1883, and Nikola bought the property later.
