Gut zu wissen
- Der ebenste und kinderwagenfreundlichste Spaziergang an der Küste — durchgehend gepflasterte Riva, fast überall mit Schatten von Pinien und Parks.
- Kalardovo liegt ~3 km von den Bushaltestellen in Tivat entfernt: Zurück geht es zu Fuß über die Riva oder mit dem Taxi vom Taxistand in Porto Montenegro.
- Zum Baden bieten sich Belane und Kalardovo mit Blauer Flagge an; in Kalardovo gibt es Duschen, Toiletten und im Sommer Kinderanimation.
- Am 16. August (Fest des Sv. Roko) feiert Donja Lastva an der Uferpromenade die Lastovska fešta; bei Kalardovo ist mit Fluglärm zu rechnen — die Anflugschneise des Flughafens führt direkt darüber.

Stone houses and the bell tower of Sv. Roko mark the old village where the promenade begins. The mapped corridor runs 5.8 km from here south to Kalardovo — about an hour and a quarter end to end at a seaside pace, flat the whole way, with Porto Montenegro fifteen minutes ahead.

Land was assigned here in 1889 for an Austro-Hungarian naval Arsenal, a decision that pulled a dispersed agricultural shore into an industrial age and shaped work and identity for a century before the brownfield became a marina. The preserved submarine P-821 Heroj sits among the yachts: launched August 1967, entered the fleet on 10 September 1968, and credited in published history with 726 sailing days and 910 dives. Confirm interior access before counting on it.

Tivat's original riva: pines, kiosks and café terraces, six minutes on from the Buća park. This is the ordinary, likeable heart of a town where the yachts are part of the view rather than the whole of it.
Belane beach

The town beach under the pines beside the Kalimanj marina, twelve minutes south of Pine — shallow and family-friendly, with the Vrmac ridge rising straight out of the water behind you. Kalardovo is a further 36 minutes along the shore.

Across the water lies Miholjska Prevlaka, where Saint Sava established the seat of the Eparchy of Zeta in the 13th century, making the small peninsula one of the most important religious centres of the medieval Serbian state. The monastery was destroyed in the mid-15th century; Orthodox tradition holds that its monks were poisoned.

Promenade Pet Danica
Sieben Kilometer Uferweg, benannt nach fünf jungen Frauen aus der Gegend — fünf Danicas, Partisaninnen im Krieg, von denen mehrere 1943 nicht von der Sutjeska zurückkehrten. Die Promenade folgt der Trasse der Bahn von 1901, die die ersten Reisenden an diese Küste brachte, und führt von den Kurgärten in Igalo bis zu den Werftkränen von Bijela.
