La route du rivage de la Boka
Une route côtière plate et étroite au pied du Vrmac, entre palais de capitaines au long cours, chapelles minuscules et pontons de baignade — la balade la plus paisible de la vieille Boka, des remparts de Kotor au rivage de châtaigniers de Stoliv.

Bon à savoir
- Balade en aller simple : le bus municipal de Kotor de Blue Line relie Kotor → Muo → Prčanj → Stoliv par cette même route (~30 min ; payez le chauffeur en espèces, en petites coupures ; dernier retour vers 22:00, plus tard en été).
- Sur une bonne partie du parcours, on partage une route à voie unique avec les voitures, sans trottoir continu — gardez les enfants près de vous aux passages étroits ; peu adapté aux poussettes, même si c’est plat.
- Longs tronçons sans ombre entre Muo et Prčanj — prévoyez de l’eau ; échelles et plateformes de baignade jalonnent tout le front de mer de Prčanj.
- Venez fin février–mars pour la floraison des camélias de Stoliv ; fin juillet, la fête de Sv. Ilija monte jusqu’à Gornji Stoliv.

Start beneath the walls of a UNESCO-listed medieval town at the head of the bay, where grey mountains drop straight into fjord-like water. Inside the gates: marble-paved lanes, hidden squares, Romanesque churches and shuttered Venetian palaces, with the Cathedral of St Tryphon at the centre. A fishing village of around 800 people on the western shore of the inner bay, directly across the narrow strait from Kotor's Old Town. Most visitors only ever glimpse it from the city walls or a cruise deck — which is the point: Muo gives you the unobstructed front-row view of the walled city that Kotor itself cannot. Its church, like the western shore's other villages, historically looked toward Venice; the feast day falls on 16 August.
Tre Sorelle palace

Municipal heritage material supports a fifteenth-century date, a sixteenth-century written name, a Buća-family connection and the distinctive three-part form. It does not name three sisters, identify their sailor, or show that the blocked openings mark their deaths — the legend and the record are two different streams, and the building is seen from outside.

A kilometre of sea captains' houses and swimming ladders along the eastern shore, directly across the water from Perast. About 1,500 people live in one of the oldest settlements in the Boka: from the 17th to the 19th century its fleet was among the largest in the bay, and the village produced a remarkable number of ship captains. Birth of Our Lady church
Étape 5 sur 6 →The parish Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary — Bogorodičin hram — begun in 1789, concluded in 1909 and solemnly consecrated in 1913. Its plan is a three-aisled domed basilica, though the sources reviewed do not establish a canonical basilica title. The collection records Captain Ivo Visin's Merito Navali flag, knight's cross and portrait; display can change during works and worship, and no reliable public timetable was found, so ask the parish first.

Stoliv

Two villages, one name, on the steep western slopes of Vrmac. Donji Stoliv is the small waterfront settlement along the shore; Gornji Stoliv is a near-abandoned hamlet of old stone houses about 240 metres up in chestnut woodland, reachable only on foot. The lower shore connected people to boats and trade, the upper used defensible, cultivable ground — and the old ascent is steep and exposed in heat.
