The stretch of Budva between the coast road and Slovenska plaža is dense with restaurants, and this address sits in the middle of it. Two hundred metres of level pavement separate the street from the beach, and the walk passes bakeries, konobas and a run of terraces where menus are printed in half a dozen languages. It is the most international corner of the town, and in July it does not really go quiet before two in the morning.
Eat your way along it and the pattern becomes clear: grilled fish and shellfish buzara near the water, pizza and grilled meat further back, priganice with honey for breakfast if you ask. The promenade at the end of the street runs the full length of Slovenska plaža, north-west towards the Old Town gates and south-east towards the marina, where boats leave for Sveti Nikola and the coves below Bečići. For a break from all of it, the cliff path past the Citadela drops to Mogren, where the water is deeper and the rock keeps the crowd smaller.
