What this covers
Montenegro.com staff use an internal publishing tool to post our own content to Montenegro.com's accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube. Through those platforms' APIs we store access tokens, account names and profile pictures, and statistics for the posts we publish. Section 4a of our Privacy Policy explains how this data is used.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@montenegro.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- Include the name or link of the Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok or YouTube account the request is about.
- We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then tell you by email that it is done.
Remove our access yourself
You can also disconnect the tool directly. We delete the data received from that platform within 30 days after access is removed.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations
- Instagram and Threads: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions
- Google and YouTube: Third-party connections in your Google Account
Your Montenegro.com account
To delete a Montenegro.com guest or host account, write to the same address. Some records, such as bookings, must be kept for legal and tax reasons; section 6 of the Privacy Policy lists how long.
