Braće Grbića sits in the middle of the corridor linking Herceg Novi to Igalo, which makes it one of the more practical addresses on this coast. The beach is a few minutes downhill, the town harbour at Škver about a kilometre east, and Igalo the same distance west — close enough that most guests walk both directions in a single day. Igalo is where the Institute Dr Simo Milošević draws visitors for peloid mud and mineral-water treatments, and its long shallow beach is the gentlest water in the area for small children.
The neighbourhood itself is greener than first-time visitors expect: oleander, mimosa, palms and citrus behind low walls, terraces built to catch the afternoon sun coming off the bay. Grilling in the yard is a local habit as much as a holiday one. Eastwards the Pet Danica promenade takes over the shoreline and delivers you to the Old Town's stepped lanes and the Forte Mare bastion in half an hour on foot. February brings the Mimosa Festival, when the yellow blossom is everywhere and the town fills for parades and fish suppers well out of season.
