Bečići is built around one very good beach — close to two kilometres of sand and fine shingle curving between two headlands, gently shelving, and calm enough that it has been a family favourite for decades. A paved promenade runs the length of it and keeps going at the southern end into Rafailovići, a former fishing village where the houses come right down to the water and the fish restaurants set their tables almost on the shore. That short walk, done in the evening with the sea on one side and kitchens on the other, is one of the pleasures of staying here.
Behind the beach the settlement climbs a hillside of olive and pine, quiet enough at night despite the number of people on the sand at midday. Budva is a couple of kilometres north, reachable on foot along the coastal path around the headland or in a few minutes by road: a walled old town of narrow lanes, a citadel over the sea, and the beach at Mogren tucked below the cliffs. In the other direction the coast leads to Kamenovo and Pržno, and to the view over the islet of Sveti Stefan that ends up on everybody's camera.
