Few beaches in Montenegro are as easy to use as the one this address opens onto. Plaža Bellevue is the middle section of the Bečići strand — sand rather than the pebble that dominates most of this coast, wide enough for volleyball courts behind the loungers, and long enough that walking from one end to the other takes about twenty minutes. The bay faces southwest, so the light stays on the water late into the evening, and buoyed swimming zones keep boat traffic out to the edge. Showers, changing cabins and a run of beach cafés line the back of the sand.
Budva is two kilometres away and reachable on foot along the shore, which is how most people arrive at the old town: through the marina, past the fish stalls, and in through the gate to the flagstone lanes, the citadel terrace and the small archaeological museum. In the other direction the coast path finishes at Rafailovići and its waterfront konobas. The riviera continues south through Kamenovo and Pržno to Sveti Stefan; north, the coastal road crosses into the Bay of Kotor, with Tivat airport about twenty-three kilometres off and Porto Montenegro's marina an easy half-day. Podgorica and its airport are roughly an hour inland, with Skadar Lake national park on the way.
