This part of Bečići sits just above the coastal road, on the hillside behind the beach, with a pedestrian bridge carrying you over the traffic and down to the sand in a few minutes without ever stepping onto the highway. The height buys a quieter night and a view over the bay, and the position puts you at the middle of the beach rather than at one of its ends — useful, because Bečići's two kilometres of sand and fine shingle are the reason to be here, with gently shelving water, loungers and beach bars along the whole length in season.
The strand is set up for doing things: pedalos and kayaks, banana boats, parasailing and volleyball courts in summer, and a promenade that fills every evening as the temperature drops. Follow it south and it delivers you to Rafailovići, where fish restaurants line the shore of an old fishing village; head north and Budva's walled old town, its bars and Mogren beach are a short walk or drive around the headland. Further along the coast lie Kamenovo, Pržno and the causeway view of the Sveti Stefan islet, all close enough to do on a whim after a morning in the water.
