Each in our own words
Jaz
Jaz is the beach the riviera measures itself against: two sections of about 800 m and 400 m, pebble at the waterline and sand under the water, with space to swim that the town beaches of Budva never have. The long western beach is fully organised — five of its concessions held a 2024 Blue Flag — while the smaller eastern cove towards Budva stays quiet and traditionally naturist. It ranked 35th in Europe’s 50 Best Beaches for 2026, and the bay has hosted the Rolling Stones, Madonna and four Sea Dance festivals.
In July and August the car park fills by mid-morning and the access road backs up; the pebble shore is hard on bare feet and the sandy seabed shelves faster than it looks.
Rafailovići
Rafailovići is not a separate bay but the compact eastern end of the Bečići strand, where the sand turns to pebble, the buildings crowd the headland and a 65 m mooring still lands and sells the catch. Its two managed sectors, 15D and 16A, follow the public-beach rules, and the quay restaurants — Porat, Tri Ribara, Obala, Aleksandar — are the reason many people come. East of the village the coast path runs under the layered rock of Cape Đevištenje and through a lit tunnel to Kamenovo in about ten minutes.
Road space is limited, parking is scarce and the restaurants sit close to the rooms above them; the beach itself is small, divided and busy in summer, and we hold no site-specific water result for it.
