A 1.2-kilometre bay of sand and pebble 6 km west of Budva with five Blue Flag concessions, a campsite behind the sand and a quieter naturist cove at its eastern end.
Our verdict
Jaz is the beach the riviera measures itself against: two sections of about 800 m and 400 m, pebble at the waterline and sand under the water, with space to swim that the town beaches of Budva never have. The long western beach is fully organised — five of its concessions held a 2024 Blue Flag — while the smaller eastern cove towards Budva stays quiet and traditionally naturist. It ranked 35th in Europe’s 50 Best Beaches for 2026, and the bay has hosted the Rolling Stones, Madonna and four Sea Dance festivals.

- The Budva–Jaz–Trsteno–Ploče local bus, with 14 departures a day listed by Budva Tourism, takes about 10 minutes from Budva. On foot it is about 50 minutes by the road.
