Each in our own words

Mogren II

Mogren II is what people walk to Mogren for and then keep walking to reach: about 170 m of coarse pale sand under the same cliff, a tunnel between it and the first cove, and noticeably fewer people for two minutes more effort. One concession runs loungers here; there is no road, no bus and nothing else. It is also the more exposed of the two, and the one without a lifeguard on our list.

There is no lifeguard recorded on this cove, only on the first. When the concessions close for weather, nobody is watching the water: a swimmer drowned here in July 2026 after they had shut. The only way in and out is the tunnel from Mogren I.

Trsteno

Trsteno is the small, shallow alternative to Jaz: about 150 m of sand at the head of a narrow south-facing cove, water that stays waist-deep a long way out, and a single beach club with a restaurant, umbrellas and a buoy line. It is organised rather than wild, and better for small children than any of the bigger Budva beaches. The same local bus that serves Jaz stops here.

The car park is small and the lane down to it narrow, so August mornings are a race; there is no shade but the umbrellas, and we found no official water result or lifeguard information for the cove.
