Brežine is the low hill between Petrovac's two beaches, close enough to walk to either in a few minutes. Lučice is the smaller and, for many people, the better of them: a horseshoe cove backed by pines, with clear water, a couple of konobe on the rocks above and no room for crowds. The town beach on the other side is the long reddish-sand one with the promenade behind it. A cliff path links the two around the headland, and walking it at dusk, with the sea flattening below, is a local ritual.
Being uphill has its own reward: the view runs south past the fort on the point and out to the islets of Katič and Sveta Nedjelja, and the sunsets take their time. The neighbourhood itself is residential rather than resort — a bakery, a small market, quiet streets under fig trees. For longer days out, Buljarica's long shingle strand is a short drive south, Sveti Stefan and Budva lie north along the Adriatic road, and the lane inland climbs quickly to Reževići monastery and views back down over the whole riviera.
