Obala Đurašević faces the inner Bay of Kotor from the Krtoli side, a low shoreline of scattered houses, jetties and olive ground on the neck of land where Luštica joins the mainland. It is a slow, residential stretch of coast — mooring buoys instead of sunbed rows, and water calm enough most mornings to read the mountains in it. Two small islands sit just offshore: Sveti Marko, wooded and uninhabited, and Gospa od Milosti with its fifteenth-century monastery.
A short way inland lie the Solila salt pans, worked for centuries and now a protected reserve where flamingos, herons and migrating waders stop over — the best birdwatching in the bay, and quiet enough to walk in the early evening. Tivat town, with Porto Montenegro's marina promenade, its restaurants and the naval heritage museum, is a few minutes' drive around the shore, and the airport sits between the two, which makes arrivals unusually painless. From Tivat the bay road continues to Kotor's UNESCO-listed walled town and, in the other direction, to the Lepetane ferry across the narrows toward Herceg Novi.
