Our verdict
Žabljak’s ski mountain and a straightforward summer summit: the chairlifts take the first 700 m of ascent in winter, and in summer the walk up from Black Lake is the standard half-day from the town. The view down onto the plateau lakes is the reason to do it.
The honest part
The chairlifts run for the ski season, not the walking one, so a summer ascent is the full climb on foot. The pistes here are north-facing and hold their snow, but the lift-served vertical is modest by Alpine standards.

Savin Kuk is usually clear of a 30 cm base from May to Nov. Outside that window, plan for snow on the ground.
