The Seven Bays
The coast’s most famous walk: promenades, a pedestrian tunnel through the cliff, hidden coves and pine paths linking seven bays — ending at the postcard view of Sveti Stefan.

Good to know
- Getting back: the Olimpia Express local bus runs Sveti Stefan → Pržno → Rafailovići → Bečići → Budva every 10–15 minutes in summer (roughly 08:00–22:00), flat fare about €2.50; a taxi is ~€12.
- The tunnel from Slovenska plaža to Bečići is lit and hung with paintings — its entrance at the east end of the beach is easy to miss; follow the shoreline all the way.
- The Kamenovo → Pržno cliff path is narrow with drops — proper footwear, and keep children close.
- Miločer park routing changes with the Aman season (Villa Miločer from 22 May 2026, the island from 1 July 2026): King’s Beach and Sveti Stefan Beach are public under the settlement announced on 6 May 2026; Queen’s Beach is reserved for Aman guests.
- Shade and water: tamarisks and beach bars on Slovenska plaža; the Zavala headland and the cliff stretch are exposed — last reliable kiosks before Pržno are at Rafailovići.
The walk
Budva Old Town
Stage 1 of 8 →
A medieval walled town on a rocky peninsula, with more than 2,500 years of settlement behind it and ramparts rebuilt after the 1979 earthquake. On the rocks toward Mogren stands the bronze dancer — modelled in 1962 and installed in the mid-1960s, though published sources disagree between 1965 and 1966. The woman who posed was an athlete; the sailor's fiancée waiting forever on the shore is local legend, not her story.

A mile and a half of tamarisk and beach bars along Budva's main strand. At its far end a lit tunnel hung with paintings cuts through the cliff toward Bečići, turning the two beaches into one continuous walk.

Bečići
Stage 3 of 8 →
A purpose-built resort strand 2 km southeast of Budva, with 895 permanent residents at the 2011 census and a sandy beach measured at 1,950 metres. Its fame rests on a Grand Prix awarded by a Paris jury in 1935 as the most beautiful beach — the resorts arrived long afterwards; the sand is the same.

Rafailovići

Where the long Bečići waterfront narrows around a small mooring and the path turns toward Kamenovo. Calling it only an old fishing village misses what visitors meet: restaurants, apartments, managed beach sectors and summer foot traffic sharing a compact shore with a site designated as a commercial and communal mooring in a 2025 plan.

Kamenovo beach
Stage 5 of 8 →
A managed public beach between Rafailovići and Pržno, reached on foot through the coastal rock — a broad arc of mixed sand and fine pebble with open views toward Sveti Stefan. The state assessment describes the shore inconsistently at roughly 330–350 metres and records human pressure on sediment supply: less urbanised is accurate, pristine protected zone is not. Public-space rules let you use part of the beach without renting.

A village waterfront, a managed beach and the routes toward Miločer meet here in very little space. Check the water before you swim: on 30 July 2026 the coastal manager reported poor quality and a bathing ban with a red flag, then the site record recovered — good on the 31 July retest, excellent on 4 and 18 August and 1 September. Neither a permanent warning nor something to hide; read the official site-level portal for your date.

Miločer park
Stage 7 of 8 →The Karađorđević summer complex was built here in 1934–36 to Dragomir Tadić's design, with horticulture by Richard Merker; King Aleksandar visited Miločer before leaving for Marseille in 1934, where he was assassinated. Cedar and mimosa park paths pass Queen's Beach and King's Beach — the 2026 settlement defines a use regime for both, but the public summary does not publish it, so confirm access for your date.

Sveti Stefan viewpoint

Fortified in 1442 by the twelve Paštrović families with booty from a captured Turkish galley; emptied into a town-hotel in the 1950s for Loren, Monroe and Fischer–Spassky. The April 2026 settlement obliges the operator to open by June 2026 — check current dates rather than planning around a fixed one. The island empties, the island returns.
