In the 1700s, the Old Mill was a family mill that worked for the local population of the then medieval town of Kotor. 300 years later, more precisely in the 70s of the last century, the Old Mill was renovated by a family who turned it into a fairytale restaurant. The old-fashioned charm that characterizes this place, the exclusivity of freshly grown vegetables from the garden, freshly caught fish and meat from local producers, raises the level of service quality. The commitment to preserving the culinary history of this restaurant can be felt by the specialty of the house - cheese made from oil, which is kept in 300-year-old stone vessels, the so-called saws. To make the experience even more exclusive, the restaurant can be accessed from the sea, as it has a small marina with 15 moorings for speedboats and yachts, as well as from the air, only on special occasions, as it has a helipad for landing smaller helicopters.   Belfry of the Church of St. Nicholas - Perast If you want to feel the romantic history from the time of Napoleon, on the main square of Peraš there is a bell tower and the church of St. Nicholas that date back to 1616, and data on the existence of this impressive building were recorded as early as 1564. It was the Napoleonic wars that interrupted the construction of the church, which lasted from 1740 to 1800. The experience of this corner of history is priceless, especially when you climb the narrow stairs to the top of the tower, which is 55m high, and where the big bell is located. Be careful when you get to the very top, because the bell is quite low.

50,000 ducats, the currency of the time, was spent on the bell tower, which is located next to this small church and was built in the Baroque era, with Romanesque and Renaissance elements, and is considered one of the largest in this part of the Adriatic. A wonderful view 'from the air', i.e. from the top of the tower, is the true wealth of the city of Perast and one of the most beautiful places from which you can have a unique view of the bay. The bell tower of the church of St. Nicholas is also a symbol of the city of Perast. The entrance fee to this small church is 1 euro, and you can visit the three treasure rooms. It is worth seeing the interesting interior decorated with old relics, valuable textiles of church clothing from the 16th and 17th centuries and an old organ. A special feature is the treasury rich in the collection of paintings by Trip Kokolj and other works of art.   Ballerina statue - Budva When we talk about romance, there is nothing greater than a tragic love story? On the very coast of the sea in Budva, while walking with your partner along the path that leads to the famous ⁠Mogren beach, among the rocks that are washed by the sea, you will notice a unique bust of a girl in motion. The sculpture, made of bronze, is called the Budva Ballerina and is a symbol of the city of Budva, and it is also the most famous tourist attraction.

The inspiration that served the sculptor Gradimir Aleksić to create such a beautiful monument is actually an old legend that will circulate around the city forever. Namely, the story of the tragic love of a girl and a sailor from this town is hidden behind the sculpture of a ballerina. It is believed that the girl, waiting for her fiance to return from a long journey, came to the shore, to these rocks, every day and watched the sea. However, the groom did not return from his journey, and his unsuspecting bride died of grief. One day it was found on the rock where the sculpture was later placed. In addition to other important monuments of Budva, which are located in the very heart of the city, this romantic statue won the sympathy of both tourists and local residents and became one of the most appreciated monuments of this part of the Montenegrin coast.   Bronze statue of a woman - Herceg Novi The beach named Lovćen, after the large rock that resembles the top of the nearby mountain ⁠Lovćen, which is located next to the old tunnel along the Pet Danica promenade in Herceg Novi, is accompanied by a legend about another love that ended tragically. Namely, the beach is characterized by a tunnel through which a train once passed, which was built through the rocks that descend into the sea.

On one of the ridges, above this small sandy beach, there is a figure of a girl in a dreamy position. The sculpture was placed as a memory of the girl who threw herself from this cliff into the sea because of unrequited love. The ambiance of this small and secluded beach - "Near the tunnel," as the locals still call it, is magical and perfect for a romantic swim in the summer or just relaxing on the beach for two and watching the open sea in the company of this graceful bronze bust.   Sunset and a walk on the Big Beach - Ulcinj Have you ever heard the saying, "When in Rome...?" This is of course a much smaller example of a waterfall, but equally dramatic when the water encounters resistance and spills over the rocks. At first glance, you may think that the waterfall is artificial because of the sedimentary rocks that look like cement, but in fact it is natural. Waterfalls flow from all sides of the rocks and the view is amazing, and you can watch it from the rocks up close.

It is located on the old road from Podgorica towards Nikšić and rises above the river Zeta. It is exciting to be near this imposing figure 269m long, 13 meters high with 18 arches, from the ancient times of princes and castles... The bridge was named after the Russian Emperor Alexander III who financed the construction of the bridge. The hewn stone from which it was built gives it a particularly romantic touch and makes it an exceptional place for photography. The foundation stone of the bridge was laid by the Montenegrin duke Božo Petrović in 1894, who at that time was the president of the State Council of the Principality of Montenegro.

The construction of the bridge took several years and involved many people. The beauty and grandiosity of the Emperor's Bridge is enchanting, and a story from the past is connected to it, when the famous photographer Rudolf Mosingeru visited Montenegro in the spring of 1910 at the invitation of Prince Nikola, in order to make an album of the city. In addition to photos of the castle and the panorama of the city, the famous photographer included the Emperor's Bridge in an album of 32 photos captivated by its beauty. In that period, the Nikšić region experienced a boom due to improved trade connections with the south of Montenegro, and the first official vehicle that passed through it was a post coach.
