Editorial update, 30 August 2026: this page began as an undated promotional account of La Perla, Villa Z and a long list of luxury facilities. That copy is no longer a safe booking guide. The name trail now runs through official records for La Perla Hospitality, archive tourism material for Nikki Beach Montenegro and a live hotel marketed as Monte Palm Beach. This article separates those layers, identifies what the evidence does—and does not—prove, and gives you a practical way to book the right property.
The short answer: La Perla is an archive name, not a 2026 booking instruction
If you found this URL by searching for “La Perla Tivat,” do not copy the old article's amenity list into a reservation decision. Tivat's tourism organisation did name La Perla Hotel & Villas among its partners in its 2019 annual report. Montenegro's business registry then recorded La Perla Hospitality in January 2020 at Bogišići bb, Milovići, Tivat, with hotels and similar accommodation as its principal activity. Those are solid historical facts. Neither proves that the restaurant, named chef, toiletries, pool dimensions, treatments, watersports or events described in the inherited sales copy still exist.
The most useful current source is the official Monte Palm Beach site. Its location page places the hotel in Bogišići, Radovići, near Tivat. A live Booking.com page now displays “Monte Palm Beach” while retaining an address slug containing “la-perla-bay-resort.” Taken together, those details strongly suggest a rebrand trail. They do not, by themselves, establish that every company, contract, building phase or amenity remained identical through each name change.

What the source trail actually establishes
2019–2020: a historic La Perla identity at Bogišići
The 2019 Tivat report is the cleanest independent confirmation that La Perla Hotel & Villas was more than a phrase in the old article. The official company-registration extract adds a separate fact: La Perla Hospitality was registered on 14 January 2020, with its main business address at Bogišići bb, Milovići. Registration describes a company and its declared activity; it is not a current hotel-category certificate, inventory sheet or facility audit.
This distinction also resolves a geographic trap. The inherited article and image filenames use Krašići. The registry uses Bogišići and Milovići; the current hotel site uses Bogišići and Radovići. These are nearby Luštica-peninsula place labels, but a guest should not assume they are interchangeable addresses. Put the current property's map pin and written address into the same message to the accommodation before arranging transport. For broader area choices, compare our independent where to stay in Tivat guide and where to stay in Kotor guide.
2022: Nikki Beach appears in official destination marketing
A Tivat tourism MICE brochure published in 2022 described Nikki Beach Montenegro at Bogišići as a five-star waterfront hotel and beach club. That brochure is valuable archive evidence, but it is not a live booking page. Nikki Beach's current corporate contact list includes its operating locations in Europe and elsewhere but does not list Montenegro. The careful conclusion is narrow: Nikki Beach was promoted here in 2022, while its global site no longer presents Montenegro as a current location. This page should not revive that brand's old facilities or service promises.
2025–2026: planning records continue under La Perla Hospitality
Brand history and planning history also move on different tracks. Tivat Municipality's environmental-document index lists files for a tourist settlement and residential villas associated with La Perla Hospitality. A national list records a chief state architect decision dated 28 August 2025, and the government published a related building-permit request page in April 2026. These documents demonstrate administrative activity. They do not demonstrate that proposed villas, units, roads, parking spaces or hospitality facilities are completed, licensed for guests or included in a room booked today.

The current name: Monte Palm Beach, with an important inconsistency
The live operator pages call the property Monte Palm Beach and offer online booking. That is the name to use when contacting the hotel in 2026. Yet the operator's own language versions do not agree: when checked on 30 August, the English homepage said 52 rooms and suites and advertised a direct-booking discount of up to 15%, while the Montenegrin homepage said 58 rooms and suites and up to 20%. Promotions can be market-specific and inventory language can differ, but the pages do not explain the discrepancy.
The responsible response is not to choose the more attractive number. Room count usually matters less to a guest than the exact room type, occupancy, view, bed setup and included facilities. Discount language matters only after comparing the same dates, room and cancellation conditions. Save the final offer and ask which terms govern your reservation. If a high-end stay is the goal, use our 2026 luxury-resort comparison to compare alternatives rather than treating a star label as a complete quality test.
Why the original “Exceptional La Perla” copy was retired
The old version read like a first-person endorsement: it praised a specific villa layout, a branded cosmetics partnership, detox programmes, private massages, Italian-French dining, a named executive chef, a 22-metre pool, kayaks, paddleboards, parties and screenings. It provided no publication date beside those claims, no independent sources and no distinction between residential sales, hotel services and beach-club access.
Several failures follow. Staff and chefs change. A brand partnership can end. “Hypoallergenic” and “detoxifying” language can sound like a health assurance without evidence. Beach facilities may be seasonal, privately operated or excluded from a room rate. A pool could exist while being closed for maintenance or limited by age or event. None of these possibilities proves that a facility is absent; it means an old advertorial cannot prove that it is present now.
The archived photographs are also unusable as 2026 proof. Their legacy URLs no longer resolve through the site's managed media system. The regional photograph retained above establishes only the coastal setting. It does not identify a hotel, room, restaurant or beach club. If photographs determine your choice, request current, dated images of the exact room category and access route—not a generic bay view or an old campaign gallery.

Practical booking checks for 2026
- Match identity in writing. Ask whether your reservation is with Monte Palm Beach and record the legal merchant name that will appear on the payment. Do not rely on an old La Perla or Nikki Beach page title.
- Match the location. Send the hotel its own map link and ask it to confirm the entrance, written address and reception contact. This matters because the source trail uses several nearby locality names.
- Match dates and room category. Compare the official site and any booking platform using identical dates, guest count, room name, meals, taxes and cancellation conditions. A headline percentage is not a like-for-like price comparison.
- Ask about access, not just existence. If a pool, beach area, spa, restaurant, parking, transfer, gym or children's facility matters, obtain written confirmation that it will operate on your dates and is included for your booked room.
- Treat wellness wording carefully. Ask for the actual service menu, provider qualifications, contraindications and price. Promotional words such as “detox” are not evidence of a medical benefit.
- Separate construction plans from the stay. Ask whether work is active near the room or access road, during which hours, and what remedy applies if the booked conditions materially change.
- Save the evidence. Keep screenshots of the room description, final price, cancellation deadline and the property's answers. Reconfirm shortly before arrival.
How to use this hotel in a wider Tivat plan
A Luštica-side stay is not the same experience as sleeping in central Tivat or inside Kotor's old town. Decide first whether your priority is a resort-style waterfront base, urban restaurants and marina access, or early walks in a historic centre. Our Tivat and Porto Montenegro guide explains the urban side of the bay, while the first-time visitor guide covers the country-level logistics that hotel marketing rarely mentions.
If the property is one stop in a road trip, build it into a route only after confirming the exact check-in conditions and parking arrangements. Our seven-day Montenegro itinerary gives a realistic framework without requiring this particular hotel. That flexibility is useful: a verified booking should fit the trip, not force the trip to accommodate an uncertain historical promise.
Name and evidence comparison
| Name or record | Dated evidence | What it supports | How to use it now |
|---|---|---|---|
| La Perla Hotel & Villas | 2019 Tivat tourism report | Historic hospitality name and tourism-organisation partnership | Archive context only; do not reuse its amenity list |
| La Perla Hospitality | 2020 registry extract; 2025–2026 planning files | Registered company and later administrative activity at Bogišići/Tivat | Confirm whether it is the merchant or operator on your contract |
| Nikki Beach Montenegro | 2022 Tivat MICE brochure | Historic hotel and beach-club marketing at Bogišići | Archive identity; absent from Nikki Beach's current global list |
| Monte Palm Beach | Live 2026 operator and booking pages | Current guest-facing name and location | Use for enquiries, then verify exact room, inclusions and terms |
Frequently asked questions
Is La Perla Tivat still open under that name?
The reviewed current guest-facing sources market Monte Palm Beach, not La Perla. La Perla remains visible in historic tourism material, the company name and old booking-page URL. Ask the property to confirm the current legal merchant and operator before payment.
Is Monte Palm Beach the same hotel as Nikki Beach Montenegro?
The shared Bogišići setting, name sequence and retained La Perla booking URL make a rebrand or operational succession a reasonable inference. The sources reviewed do not prove that every legal entity, contract, building or facility stayed identical. Treat it as a documented identity trail, not a legal equivalence.
Can I rely on the old La Perla pool, spa and beach-club claims?
No. Their appearance in an inherited promotional article proves only that they were marketed then. Request dated written confirmation of opening, seasonal limits, guest access and any extra charge for the exact dates of your stay.
Why does the current site show different room and discount figures?
The English and Montenegrin homepages disagreed when checked on 30 August 2026, and the pages did not explain why. The difference might reflect stale translation, inventory definitions or market-specific promotions. Compare the final payable offer for the same room and conditions instead of relying on either headline.
Verdict
La Perla belongs in the documented history of hospitality at Bogišići, but the 2018-style advertorial does not belong in a 2026 booking decision. Official tourism material supports the La Perla and later Nikki Beach names at different dates; company and planning records support La Perla Hospitality's administrative presence; the current operator-facing identity is Monte Palm Beach. Because the live operator pages themselves conflict on basic inventory and discount language, verify the exact offer rather than borrowing certainty from any brand name.
Use the live name, confirm the exact room and included facilities, save the terms, and treat every historical amenity as unverified until the property confirms it for your dates.
